Need funds? Bring your guns, we’ll buy ’em, says Richmond PD
RICHMOND — Need funds for the holidays? The Richmond Police Department will buy back your guns Sunday, no questions asked, as part of an art project to promote peace — up to $100 in gift cards for each rifle, shotgun and handgun; up to $200 for each assault weapon.
The Gun Buyback will take place in the parking lot of Richmond City Hall, at 450 Civic Center Plaza, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The firearms must be unloaded, and kept in the trunk of their owners’ cars, to be retrieved by police officers.
