RFP has been chosen as a beneficiary for this year's Vallejo Waterfront Weekend, which will include a variety of food, entertainment, races, and other fun activities on October 7 & 8. RPF will benefit from the sales of the Lucky Ducky Derby tickets. For just $5 a piece, you can enter as many ducks as you want in a race along the waterfront. Top prizes include: a 24-month prepaid lease on a new car; $2,500 cash; a VIP package for 4 at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom; and a $1,000 Victory Stores shopping spree. 2017 RPF Launch & Fundraiser

The 2017 Robby Poblete Foundation Launch & Fundraiser was a sold-out event of more than 300 guests at Vino Godfather on Mare Island. Vallejo Mayor Bob Sampayan read a proclamation and declared June 30 as "Robby Poblete Day".

Healthy Store Makeover

RPF volunteers participate in a Healthy Store Makeover with Fighting Back Partnership, Vallejo Together, VibeSolano and Solano County Public Health. Transforming another liquor store into a healthy market on June 10.

Congressman Thompson Fundraiser

Congressman Mike Thompson (D-CA 5th District), an early supporter of The Robby Poblete Foundation and the 2017 Gun Buyback, held a fundraiser at Dan Foley Community Center on April 23.

Board Kick-Off Meeting

March 27, 2017 - The RPF Board of Directors met for the first time and discussed a number of issues including local partnerships and fundraising, long-term strategies for the foundation and scaling our mission to the state level. 

First Stakeholders' Meeting

March 30, 2017 - The Robby Poblete Foundation had its first stakeholders' meeting, which was held at the USA World Classic Museum in Vallejo. It  was attended by city, county and state representatives including the offices of Congressman Mike Thompson, Sen. Bill Dodd, Assemblyman Tim Grayson, County Supervisor Erin Hannigan, Vallejo Mayor Bob Sampayan, Vallejo Police Chief Andrew Bidou, Lt. Rustin Banks from the Solano County Sheriff's Department, and members of the local art community. Jon Riley, Executive Director of the Napa-Solano Labor Council, led the discussion. Victims' Memorial Day

Mothers, grandmothers and sisters who all lost loved ones to violent crime attended the Victims' Memorial Day event coordinated by The Matt Garcia Foundation in Fairfield to share their stories and honor those they have lost.
