RPF will be unveiling its inaugural Art of Peace exhibit on May 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Temple Art Lofts, 707 Marin Street, in Vallejo, Calif., during the city's monthly 2nd Friday Art Walk. The event is the culmination of an eight-month project that started with the foundation's Solano County Gun Buyback held on August 26, 2017. Materials from decommissioned firearms from the buyback, as well as from weapons collected from law enforcement agencies from throughout Northern California were distributed to selected artists for RPF's Art of Peace project to turn into art. All artists will be present. The event will also include a pop-up dinner by League of Chefs at 6:30 pm and a healing ceremony with victims and survivors of gun violence at 8 pm.

The Robby Poblete Foundation will be hosting its 2nd Annual Fundraiser on June 30, 2018, 6 pm - 10 pm at Mare Island Brewing Company, 851 Waterfront Ave., on Mare Island in Vallejo. The event will be catered by League of Chefs and will feature a live auction with our Art of Peace artwork. Proceeds from this event will go toward RPF's three programs: gun buyback, Art of Peace and vocational.

RPF co-sponsored the NBACA Hands-on Career Fair on April 20, 2018, at the Carpenters Apprenticeship Training Center in Fairfield, CA. The event included live demonstrations by brick layers, carpenters, cement masons, electricians, insulators, iron workers, sheet metal workers, steamfitters, surveyors, and many more. The event was attended by students from throughout Napa and Solano counties, from 9th grade and above.
On March 31, 2018 The Robby Poblete Foundation held its inaugural Golf for Guns Tournament Fundraiser, during which 80 golfers participated and 150 people attended the banquet awards dinner at Eagle Vines Vineyard and Golf Club, 580 S. Kelly Road, American Canton, CA. Proceeds will go toward supporting RPF's gun buyback program.
On Feb. 9, 2018, the Robby Poblete Foundation sponsored Fairfield's First Annual Women's Carpenters Apprenticeship Trades Day hosted by Carpenters Local 180. The career fair drew more than 200 participants and included information and live demonstrations on Carpentry, Drywall Lathing, Mill Cabinet, Modular Furniture and many other apprenticeships in the carpenter trades.
RFP was a 2017 beneficiary of Vallejo Waterfront Weekend, a two-day community event that included live music, food, boat races, a triathlon, Glo Run, and numerous other activities. The event took place on October 7 & 8.
The Robby Poblete Foundation hosted the 4th Annual Glo Run event on Oct. 7, 2017. Nearly 300 people participated in the evening 5K run, which started on the Mare Island Waterfront and ended at the Vallejo Waterfront Festival grounds. The event began with a ferry ride at 6:30pm from the Vallejo Waterfront Terminal to the Mare Island Terminal, where runners warmed up with Zumba dancers. They then started on the course around Vallejo’s historical naval base.
RPF held its first countywide gun buyback in Vallejo on August 26, 2017, netting nearly 200 firearms.
Vallejo Admirals hosted RPF Board members and volunteers for Robby Poblete Foundation Night at the ballpark.
RPF made its debut at the Solano County State Fair, with a merchandise and informational booth manned by Board members and volunteers from Aug. 2-6, 2017.

The 2017 Robby Poblete Foundation Launch & Fundraiser was a sold-out event of more than 300 guests at Vino Godfather on Mare Island. Vallejo Mayor Bob Sampayan read a proclamation and declared June 30 as "Robby Poblete Day".

March 27, 2017 - The RPF Board of Directors met for the first time and discussed a number of issues including local partnerships and fundraising, long-term strategies for the foundation and scaling our mission to the state level.
March 30, 2017 - The Robby Poblete Foundation had its first stakeholders' meeting, which was held at the USA World Classic Museum in Vallejo. It was attended by city, county and state representatives including the offices of Congressman Mike Thompson, Sen. Bill Dodd, Assemblyman Tim Grayson, County Supervisor Erin Hannigan, Vallejo Mayor Bob Sampayan, Vallejo Police Chief Andrew Bidou, Lt. Mothers, grandmothers and sisters who all lost loved ones to violent crime attended the Victims' Memorial Day event coordinated by The Matt Garcia Foundation in Fairfield to share their stories and honor those they have lost.
